New Year, What’s your plan?!

As we have now entered 2026, what are your goals for this year? I’ve always loved New Year’s, it’s pretty much the only holiday that I actually care much about. Fresh start, New Year’s resolutions and curiosity to see what the new year will bring. 2025 was exceptionally great, but it was very busy. I’m hoping the 2026 will be a little less busy, but just as exciting. I did decide to consolidate my three businesses, and I have launched as of today at The Lady Plumber Inc.

The main reason was to limit the amount of unnecessary paperwork that I was doing. So now all my invoices, all my job information, client database will be all in one business. So that is what I am super excited about. But I would love to hear about yours!

Our industry, Solar & Energy Storage, is looking ahead at a big year of transition/unknown after the OBBB set the 30% Residential Federal Tax Credit to expire 12/31/2025. So, looking to adapt and adjust our business model through more strategic partnerships, more C+I projects, multifamily projects, O+M contracts, and likely fewer but larger install projects (solar canopies, ground mounts, new construction).

A few strategic initiatives include:

• implementing clearer project close out processes, especially utilizing CompanyCam and Jobber to capture project and site details for long term records.
• tapping into our database to identify opportunities for adding Energy Storage to our historical solar-only installs
• improve our online presence and set our selves apart from other local competitors - very intrigued by the new CC feature to collect google reviews
