🎶 What are you listening to during the day on or off the job site? 🎙️

Absolutely! I actually don’t listen to anything in the morning. 4am-8am (minus an hour gym time) I wallow in my own thoughts which I’m not sure is any better 😂

How do you track your expenses?

Just wondering how everyone tracks your expenses and bookkeeping stuff. I just adapted over the years as I learned more about business ownership, but curious as to how other people do it. I’m always up for improving so thought this would be a great place to ask. Me personally I log all pdfs...

    Inventory Tracking System

I always wanted to try an inventory tracking system when I had employees but never pulled the trigger. I would love to hear how it works out in case I ever decide to hire again in the future.

    Monday Check in!

I found as I got older, it was getting easier to get fluffy. I did CrossFit 4-6 days a week, ate healthy but still found my body composition wasn’t what I was thinking it should be for how hard I worked. I hired a trainer, and it got worse, then another and another, then the more I learned...

🧰 What’s the One Tool You Can’t Live Without on the Job?

For me I would say my attitude. I show up with a smile and good energy, it makes a huge difference than showing up to just get the job done. It makes people feel comfortable, happy to see you and always wanting to makes sure you’re their first call next time.

📱Social media is tough (good thing we have some pros here) share your best advice.

I have been starting to use it recently. I actually re-edited reels that have previously gone viral and posted them strictly to trials. 4 so far and 3 have all done pretty well (90k, 700k and 6 mil). One doing really bad at 60. Like, 6-0 lol. Following bumped by a few thousand this month on IG...

Email History - What do you do?

I always save email threads because it’s happened where I’ve had to go back and remind a client of what we communicated about. Right now I’m just copy and pasting them to my Jobber notes in each job. I don’t like the disorganized nature of it. There isn’t a keyword search in the notes in...

This is great! I checked it out and it’s super easy find a lot of the info that I’m always asking @Aiden for so I’m sure he will appreciate not being bothered so much 😄. Great job on the organization 👏🏼

🔥 Hot topic: Prices for your work 🔥

Being in the service industry and basing most of my jobs off flat rates, it’s pretty easy to see your profit off each job in the program I use (Jobber). It’s a fairly new feature within the past couple years and it’s made a big difference. I find I’m changing many of my rates often, that have...

Shocking stat about construction and building needs

That’s insanity 😳😳. In our area we’ve been seeing an exponential rise in foreign workers in the industry to supplement the lack of workers locally. There have been definitely pros and cons. Of course jobs are actually getting done, and not all bad, however, some issues though due to lack of...
