We do lots of surveys for our clients where the designers would like access to the original photos and the marked up ones with measurements, etc. Right now, the Timelink link only allows for downloading the "modified" photo. I would like to have the ability to download original photos also. The workaround is that I have to download "originals" and send them to my client. These projects progress over months, sometimes years, so I am often downloading "originals" for my clients as they need them.

Hey there! Thanks for laying this out so clearly. Surveys where the designer needs the clean shot and the marked-up one is a really specific workflow, and you're right that the Timeline link only hands over the modified version today. There's no way around that on the link itself right now.
Two things that might cut down the back-and-forth in the meantime:
Duplicate before you mark up. If you duplicate a photo and then add your measurements and annotations to the copy, both versions live in the Project side by side, and both show up in the Timeline link. Your designers can grab whichever one they need without you downloading and emailing anything. It's an extra tap at markup time, but it's a one-time step instead of a recurring export every few weeks.
Gallery links for batch handoffs. When there's a milestone worth packaging up, a Gallery link gives your client a Download All Photos button right in the top corner. This is something Timeline links don't have, but it doesn't solve your ask because Gallery links don't provide a original and modified download option either. It's not a replacement for the live Timeline, but handy when the designers need a whole set at once.
