Date Added - Camera Roll

I’d like the phone app photo upload flow to show dates while browsing the camera roll, so it’s easier to find the right photos before uploading.

For instance if uploading historic photos and unable to use the GPS / location meta data scrolling back with dates visable would be beneficial.

Hi @LiamSparks, thanks for posting this! Totally get it. When you’re digging through a big camera roll for older jobs, being able to see dates as you scroll would save a ton of time.

Right now, the photo picker in the mobile upload flow doesn’t show dates. The good news is that our team is actively working on improvements to the photo picker, and requests like yours help shape what gets prioritized. I don’t have a timeline to share, but I’ve passed this along to the team.

A few workarounds in the meantime:

• Make an album first: In your phone’s Photos app, add the historic photos to an album (or favorite them), then pick from that album when you upload. Searching by date in Photos makes this quick.
• Upload from your computer: Send the photos to your computer and use Upload Media on the web app. Your computer’s file browser can sort by date, and the photos still land in your Project.
• Dates carry over: Once uploaded, photos use the date they were originally taken (not the upload date), so your historic photos will show the right dates in the Project.
