Feature Request: Allow AI Tools to Read PDF Contents Through CompanyCam MCP
We use CompanyCam to manage construction projects, proposals, subcontractor invoices, and financial documents.
We have connected CompanyCam to ChatGPT and would like AI tools to be able to read the actual contents of uploaded PDFs, rather than only document names, metadata, and attachment URLs.
This would allow contractors to automate job-cost tracking, verify subcontractor invoices, compare actual costs against proposals, and generate profitability reports without downloading and re-uploading documents.
Ideally, this capability would respect CompanyCam's existing document permissions, including Restricted access.
This would be a valuable improvement for contractors who want to use AI with their existing CompanyCam workflows.
