When you’re juggling a lot of Tags and Labels, a handful of colors can only stretch so far, and we hear you.

• Split the job between the two: use labels for project status (“Active,” “Complete”) and tags for categories on photos. Each set can then reuse colors without overlapping in the same view.
• Add a short prefix or emoji to the name (like “
Urgent” or “HVAC – Rough-in”) so a tag stays easy to spot even when its color matches another.
• Lean on filtering: searching or filtering by tag name can be quicker than scanning colors once you have a long list.
