More Customization Options for Templates Please

I was really excited by how we could use CompanyCam to make it much easier for our Sales Reps to be able to quickly generate branded documents with their footage and notes stored in CompanyCam, but jumping into the Template creator and I'm feeling MUCH LESS EXCITED. It's so extremely limited that I don't even know that it'll work how I had hoped. Features needed:

• Font Selection. I'd really like to be able to upload a custom font, but if not, at least allow us to select from a list of Google Fonts. If I'm not mistaken, there isn't even the option to select between a simple sans/serif font (a Times vs. Helvetica) and that's extremely limited. Also, simple things like selecting to have text BOTH bold AND italic simultaneously, doesn't seem possible.

• Custom Margins. I'd love to be able to type in my custom margins for Top, Bottom, Left & Right, but please at least give us some options, like "Default, Minimum, etc." Trying to align our text to the images/text in our uploaded header image (816px x 84px) is pretty much impossible at the moment.

• Please allow us to set background colors. For a very basic example, I'd like to be able to set a branded background color for my Cover Page and then have the Project Information Dynamically loaded, again with my custom font stylings from point one. Else, please let us upload a full page image as a background image and then customize the dynamic content on top.

• Add "Space" and Horizontal Line block or module to be able to a manual space between sections. Additionally, please provide padding/margin options to each section's settings as well.

• The Text Snippet function again would be helpful if it was able to be more robust/rich text settings. Colors, tabs, tables, etc.

Happy to share why I'm looking for this functionality and how I could see it being useful for everyone.

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! We can totally understand wanting every Document your reps build to come out fully on-brand, with the photos and notes already in CompanyCam and we're definitely working toward that goal. Since there's a list of excellent requests here, I'll break it all down here:

What you can already do (Document Templates on web, Admins & Managers, select plans):
• Cover page that fills itself in: In a Template, click + → Cover Page and leave the project details blank. They populate automatically when the Template is used. You can also type "{{" anywhere in the Template to drop in fields like Project Name, Project Address, Company Name, Date, or Author.
• Branded header/footer: Click into the header area, choose Replace with Image to upload your own, or + Insert Field for dynamic info. Turn on Hide on Page 1 to keep it off your cover.
• Text color, alignment, and photo layouts: Text color and alignment are in the editor. The new Photo Settings tab lets you set photo layout, size, and shape in one spot.

Not something we support today: Custom margins and spacing, background colors, more font options and sizes, and more cover page and branding flexibility are things that are not currently being explored, but I'll share your request with our Product team! A few things to make things easier in the meantime:
• Design your header image with your logo and text inset, so they line up with where your body text starts.
• Carry your brand color through the header/footer image, plus a cover page with your logo and project photo.
• Use a page break to start a new section on a fresh page.
• Build your go-to formatted text, colors, and tables right into the template so every new doc starts with them in place.
