Picture Re-organization

Is there any chance in the future we will be able to reorganize or move pictures around within the project screen rather than moving them around after creating the report? Sometimes I take the pictures out of order and moving them around after creating the photo report is not easy especially when I have only two photos per page so I have to hold the image down and move it down or up very slowly. Hey! I'll share this response here as well!

Photos don’t currently come in to a report based on the order you checkmark them and you can’t hand-sort them on the Project screen, but I'll log your request with our Product team!

A few workarounds that can help:

• Set your view first. In your Project, click View and switch photos to oldest-to-newest (or newest-to-oldest, whichever matches how you want the story told). When you select photos from the Project and create a Document, that order carries right through. Setting this up front does most of the sorting work for you.
• Work in batches. Every time you select a batch and hit Confirm, that batch drops in after the previous one. So if you want a specific photo first, add it as its own batch, then add the rest. Working in small groups instead of selecting everything at once gets you more of a custom order with barely any dragging.
• Break it into photo sections. Several small sections beat one giant one — less scrolling, easier shuffling. Here's our help article on editing Documents.
• Shrink before you drag. Switch the layout to Grid and photo size to Small in the dot menu. More photos on screen means nudging instead of slow-crawling. Your photos are numbered in the Document too, so the order’s easy to track.
