Lidar Feature in photos

Hey team!

I just wanted to say that I’ve been using the lidar feature in the photos and it’s pretty sweet. If you haven’t checked it out, definitely give it a try. I would say for precise measurements, outside of a half inch buffer, use a tape, but for getting rough measurements, in my case a count on lengths of pipe for a rough in or measuring a roof for a quote, thus saves a ton of time.

Give ‘er a go!

Client rating??

Utilizing the Labels feature would work well in this case! You could color coordinate the labels and title how you see fit. Then filter by those labels!

Support would also be happy to walk you through this or if you just wanted to chat about some ideas to make this easier. Just let me know!
Ooo thank you! Good idea!

Estimating

I'm relatively new to Company Cam and thus far I am a big fan and it has become a tool I use every day. Has there been any thought to adding an estimating feature to the product? I currently use SimplyWise Cost Estimator and then I copy/cut/past the results into my CC docs. It seems estimating would be a natural evolution of Company Cam.
Just Curious

You just got paid!

Has anyone figured out how NOT to notify every user that the business got paid? We just started using the payments option in CompanyCam, but i don't need all my users to get notified about being paid. All of our users are set at the Manager or Admin level. If i could just the Admins to be notified that would solve my problem. Any thoughts my fellow CC community?

End of Year Webinar: Live With Luke and John

  • Is there a Search Your Library feature in the pipeline that will allow a global search of photos? Example) "Standing Seam", "Manufacturer", "Groundmount", etc. I think of iPhone photos where you can search a keyword. We've recently added more protocol to add tags to photos, but wondering if a feature like this would ever be considered?
  • Have you heard of any non-contractors or any other industries using CompanyCam?

Made sure we got to your question, @cody.howen! Thanks for dropping those in here!

ERP Info

Hello All,

Is anyone currently integrating with an ERP system or utilizing their ERP with company cam? We are currently using Epicor that manages our Manufacturing, Production, Sales, Accounting and ready for a New ERP either upgrading Epicor to their newer version of Kinetic other systems we have looked at are Microsoft Dynamics and a few others. Would love to know how you are utilizing it with them and overall effectiveness.
The tables turned this morning! Instead of sending a CompanyCam photo report, I received one. There's a new level of camaraderie (at least for me) with this local roofing partner.

Favorite CRM?

With the exception of it not being a two-way sync, Jobber is pretty much in line with everything you're looking for. I'm sure others can chime in with their thoughts as well!
Yes, we currently use Jobber. I really like it and appreciate you chiming in and confirming. I am re-evaluating our Jobber plan as we currently under-utilize the level of plan and number of seats that we pay for. At it's core, we need our CRM to be the single source of truth for client records.

I would love for the CC integration to do a bitttt more but trust that'll come in due time!

I am curious to hear what other's thoughts are as well :)
