Business Wins?!

For the Google Workspace, we too took a while to get it off the ground. I ended up paying the 20.00 for Chat GPT for a few months and it helped me build the drive, calendars, templates, etc. to how we needed it. The AI walked me through how to connect QuickBooks Online, Google Drive, Drop Box, Monday.com and the other software's that we use for production. I would suggest if you try it, create projects in Chat GPT for each item. For example to set up your linked calendars create that as a project. When you like it tell it to save it to memory. If not it creates a huge thread that i have broken multiple times lol. Best of luck.
Very cool!

🚀 Let’s see your best Before & After shots 🤳

Here is the kitchen redo :
Trade / Type of Job
Kitchen renovation and interior redesign for a rental property in Dublin. The project involved updating the layout, installing new cabinetry, refreshing finishes, and styling the space to create a modern, durable kitchen suitable for long-term tenants while maintaining a refined aesthetic. The work was managed end-to-end by Cairenn Foy Interiors, coordinating trusted local trades, suppliers, and installation.

How Long the Project Took
Approximately 4 weeks from demolition to final styling, including removal of the existing kitchen, installation of cabinetry and worktops, electrical and plumbing updates, tiling, and finishing touches.

Biggest “Whoa” Moment in the Process
The biggest “whoa” moment came once the cabinetry and lighting were installed. What had been a dated, cramped kitchen suddenly felt bright, spacious, and cohesive. The new layout maximised storage while creating a clean, contemporary look transforming the kitchen into a space that immediately elevated the entire rental property.

Business Wins?!

Hey team! I wanted to reach out and get some hype from other business owners. What are your recent wins and stoke?! Any new developments or even new technologies applied that has streamlined your flow? I am always open to new ways to improve mine so I feel like putting it out there is always helpful.

For me, I have had some struggles with launching the name change of my corporation. Mostly with the email actually. I am trying to use Google Workspace for a shared email with myself and my assistant but I have tried and have failed at getting it going. Any tips are appreciated if you have any. But other than that, I am super happy with how everything else is going with it even though it's been a ton of work. Hopefully soon it will be settled into place.

How are you guys actually getting more reviews?

Yes, I hear you on that! It's one thing for a customer to say "I'd love to help in anyway" or "I'd be happy to write a review or recommendation" and then for them to actually do it.

Did you find the CompanyCam review tool to be easy to use and deploy during your trial? Even if it didn't necessarily materialize with customer action?
Yes! The tool itself was great! Easy to setup, easy to use, easy to implement.

It's been a little while since I used the trial so I don't fully remember everything. But it was incredibly easy to use. It took us all of 10 minutes to get our production and sales teams using it. I don't *think* you will need to restructure anything. The feature itself wasn't linked to a project, but merely allowed us to select photos to send to the customer so they could include the photos we provided.
Ok, super helpful - thanks!

We have very little success getting any customers to write reviews. I think we need to send someone onsite to sit with the customer while they complete the review.

I am interested in what you thought of the trial @Jane S and @the_ladyplumber ? I am very interested in increasing our online presence and utilizing Elite to more easily collect google reviews with photos and showcase projects.

I am a bit weary of the increase in monthly pricing and also wondering if it is a heavy lift to implement? I wonder if we will need to adjust or re-architect how we use CompanyCam and therefore our digital project management system to accommodate these two features. For example, we currently manage repeat projects with the same CompanyCam "project", essentially equating CompanyCam project to a site - I imagine we would need to change this should we implement showcase and google reviews?

Thanks for your input!

Integrations Questions!

Hey @cody.howen, I was just reminded that we do sync contact info. It's a setting in the integration that you can turn on or off. It appears you may have yours turned off. Having said that, you might not prefer that we're syncing contact location addresses, so it would be good to get feedback on that from you!
Hey @John Talman, I did have that turned off but wasn't aware of the option - game changer!

Integrations Questions!

With Jobber, the only information that syncs from CompanyCam -> Jobber is Photos, Videos, Files and a universal link to the Project. There isn't a direct way to transfer over checklists, but if you export the checklist as a PDF and save it in the Files tab, that could be a workaround! This Help Guide has more info that might be valuable, as well!
Oh that would work. Even just to keep that data saved for future reference

Integrations Questions!

I second this! It would be great to have client contact info import: Name, Phone Number, Email.

It would also be nice to manually link CompanyCam to Jobber - to my knowledge, the only way these get linked is upon creation of a client record in Jobber and/or creation of a new quote/project in jobber.

Cody, you're correct with how the integration currently works. But this is great feedback I'm going to share with the integrations team!

Integrations Questions!

Is there a tutorial about integrating Company Cam with Notion? Has anyone done it? The majority of our database exists on Notion and there is some doubling up that happens with Company Cam set ups, and it would be nice to have field reports automatically fed into our Project database on Notion if possible.
We aren't directly integrated with Notion, but we do have an integration with the automation solution Zapier that Notion also has an app for. One option is you could experiment with connecting the two services and see if they are able to create a CompanyCam project from a specific record type being made as well as one to create a link to the CompanyCam project from your CRM.

Here's how to integrate with Zapier: Integrate CompanyCam + Zapier

Integrations Questions!

I was wondering if anyone could go over the integrations, particularly Jobber. The photos do sync, to the internal notes, but I am wondering if there is a way to also transfer other features automatically? Ie Checklists, To-Do Lists.
