My plumbing experience is that I've replaced a garbage disposal and snaked a bathroom sink, so forgive my ignorance lol...but is this due to plumbing going smoother in the hot vs the cold?I guess I’m the only one that will work in the hot over cold![]()
I didn’t even know there was a mute button lolI feel like @Aiden Schneider would have some good insight
I personally love the mute button, but I also feel there should be no shame in unfollowing accounts you no longer find enjoyable/useful![]()

1) we utilize the assign feature, and it works well for initial set up of project
2) we don't utilize conversation because it doesn't log properly in reports for our use, and isn't as integrated with the rest of our departments as Microsoft Teams, so we have added a "text" "question" to the top of our checklists allowing for "Additional feedback from the field..." and then under the notes we have provided a spot for Foreman and "text" spot for Technicians. We try to just use Checklists and not Tasks to simplify our user experience with one less tab, but also because the in-depth customization of Checklists is a massive plus.
3) this could be a workaround, but then we also would need to physically go in and remind them. An automated reminder seems less like "big brother" and micromanaging from a field perspective. I suppose these notifications would allow for their phone to get that tasks pushed to them, or are the push notifications just on photo comments and convo comments?
Thanks for passing along our suggestion. We love the app and are excited for how it evolves in the future.
1) we utilize the assign feature, and it works well for initial set up of projectHey - great suggestion! There isn't a way to push a reminder notification to a User, but there are a few options you might consider adopting to your workflow.
Thanks for sharing a bit about your workflow with us! We'll make sure this suggestion gets to the right people.
- Are you assigning Checklists to your team? Once you assign a Checklist to someone, they'll get a notification in their notification center, in addition to a push notification and/or email notification, depending on their settings. https://help.companycam.com/en/articles/7331358-assign-a-checklist-to-users
- This feature doesn't necessarily operate on your end, so you might need to coach your team how to use the feature correctly, but they can set up reminders for Project Conversation messages and photo comments. https://help.companycam.com/en/articles/6828347-how-to-use-notifications#h_13812a243e
- You can also assign Tasks to your team. In your case, I'd recommend creating a Task on the Project such as, "Complete checkout before leaving the job site" and assign it to each User who needs to complete the checkout. They can view all Tasks assigned to them under their 'My Stuff' tab. https://help.companycam.com/en/articles/6828347-how-to-use-notifications#h_13812a243e
We sent a hand full out but no one has completed them yet. I love the ability to add selected photos from the project but it is challenging to get customers to actually complete the review. How have Google Reviews gone for you in general, @Jane S?
That’s amazing and I hear you there!I would really like to see myself finish up the 40+ house projects I have going on so that I can give myself an excuse to start decorating for the holidays!!
that’s great!I have several travel plans (to places that ACTUALLY have fall) and I'm spending my free time trying to catch up on my reading goal before the end of the year!
